F.A.D.A.P. teddy bears

F.A.D.A.P. stands for Fabrique Artistique d’Animaux en Peluche. This company was founded in 1920 and based in Divonne-les-Bains, France, near the Swiss border. In the fifties the company made a new range of Teddy Bears in cooperation with the American company Ideal Toy Corporation. The company was shut down in the seventies.

The trademark is a metal button in the left ear. Usually with a cardboard label behind it.
