We all stand together – Paul McCartney

We all stand together’, is a song written by Paul McCartney in 1983. He is a big fan of Rupert Bear and wrote the story ‘Rupert and the Frog Song’, which later was published as a comic book. A 13 minute cartoon was made by McCartney, which of course includes the hit ‘We all stand together’. The song was sung by Paul McCartney with the backing vocals ‘Frog Chorus’, provided by King’s Singers choir and the choir of St. Paul’s Cathedral. The song was released in June 1983 and again at Christmas 1984, when it became a hit in the UK charts.

Lyrics

Win Or Lose, Sink Or Swim
One Thing Is Certain We’ll Never Give In
Side By Side, Hand In Hand
We All Stand Together

Play The Game, Fight The Fight
But What’s The Point On A Beautiful Night?
Arm In Arm, Hand In Hand
We All Stand Together

Keeping Us Warm In The Night
La La La La
Walk In The Night
You’ll Get It Right

Win Or Lose, Sink Or Swim
One Thing Is Certain We’ll Never Give In
Side By Side, Hand In Hand
We All Stand Together
