Eduard Crämer Teddy Bears

Eduard Crämer started making teddy bears around 1912 in Schalkau, Germany. His bears were of great quality and had great facial expressions. Characteristic are the shaved, heart shaped snout en the big, flat soles on which the bears could stand upright.

Trademark

The trademark of Eduard Crämer is an ape head, with the name ‘Educa’ underneath it.

Rare Crämer teddy bear. Golden mohair straw filled bear with white elongated muzzle, brown glass eyes, brown stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head and jointed at shoulders and hips, felt paw pads and wearing a yellow ribbon.
