There are a couple of compagnies that use or have used bears to advertise beers:

Soft drinks bears
In 1993, Coca-Cola introduced their Coca-Cola Polar Bears, which became a great succes in their ad campaigns. The Cresta soft drink used a cool polar bear for his promotions. The Great Root Bear is the mascot for A&W Root Beer.
