An early British teddy bear with blonde mohair, clear and black oily glass eyes with brick red painted backs, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with cloth pads and hump, probably Terry.
1910-1920, 14"/35,5cm high. (left arm bald, other bald spots, ears loosly tacked to head, pad split at right wrist and other wear) Sold for £ 600 (2007).
1930 - 1940
A British teddy bear with dark golden artificial-silk plush, clear and black glass eyes with remains of brown painted backs, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head and jointed limbs with brushed cotton pads.
1930s, 12"/32,5cm high. Sold for £ 360 (2007).
A British teddy bear pyjama case with golden mohair, orange and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, felt pads and zip up back, possibly Omega.
1930s, 20"/51cm high. (some fading and very slight thinning) Sold for £ 480 (2007).
