A rare Chiltern teddy bear with white mohair, replaced eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with velvet pads and hump.

1930s, 17″/44.5cm high.

(patched holes in muzzle, pad spots of front and left arm, some general wear and discolouration)

A Chiltern teddy bear with rare green artificial-silk plush, clear and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with velvet pads and hump.

1930s, 16¼”/41.5cm high.

(split to bottom of left hand pad, plush washed, matted and faded, a few bald spots and wear, small ink stain on bottom)

Chiltern pink mohair Hug-mee teddy bear, replacement amber and black glass eyes, black vertically stitched nose, fully jointed, rexine pads, wearing beige sweater and apricot neck ribbon

1930s/40s, 14″/36cm high.

(rear seam has been restitched – body has been restuffed with kapok, faded overall, only areas of pink are around where joints meet body, 70% hair loss)

1950 – 1959

A Chiltern Hugmee teddy bear with pale golden mohair, orange and black glass eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head and jointed limbs with velvet pads.

1950s, 20″/51cm high.

(slight wear and thinning to top of right arm, hump and top of head)
