1910 – 1919

A Steiff teddy bear with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads and hump

(slight wear, pads patched and tip of muzzle slightly stained)

A large Steiff display centre-seam teddy bear with golden mohair, orange and black glass eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads and FF button in ear.

1910-20, 40″/101.5cm high

(patch to back of head and around hump or front, body possibly replaced the wrong way, damage and repairs around muzzle, black stitching and eyes probably replaced, repaired split across back, bald bottom and pads replaced)

1920 – 1929

Rare Steiff teddy bear, straw filled white duel mohair bear with brown tips, large brown glass eyes, brown stitched nose, mouth and claws, centre seam to pointed snout, swivel head and jointed at shoulders and hips, large hump to back, elongated hands and feet with felt paw pads, button in left ear.

Circa 1925, 25″/64cm high.

(some minor wear to mohair under chin, and to back, left paw pads with holes)

A very rare Steiff Somersaulting teddy bear with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, arms joined to the mechanism, when the left arm is turned forward it winds the bear up causing it to tumble forward, jointed legs with felt pads, hump and FF button in ear with remains of red tag.

1934-35, 10″/25,5cm high.

(mohair slightly matted)

A fine and rare Steiff Dicky bear with golden mohair, brown and black glass eyes, pronounced inset light golden mohair muzzle, black stitched nose and mouth, air-brushed smile and shading, swivel head, jointed limbs with paw-printed velvet pads, hump, strong squeeze growler and FF button with red cloth tag No.5328. This bear was an engagement gift in 1930 from Max to Margarete Steiff

A Steiff bear cub pull toy, the back with lever mechanism producing a ‘growl’ when pulled, one leg with cloth tag, made in U.S. Zone Germany, lacking ears.
