The Great Muppet Caper (1981)

Reporters Kermit, Fozzie and Gonzo are sent to London, to interview Lady Holiday, a wealthy fashion designer. Her priceless diamond necklace is stolen. Miss Piggy is the new secretary of Lady Holiday, but she pretends to be the fashion designer. Kermit, however, discovers the truth, when the jewel thieves strike again and this time Miss Piggy gets the blame. It's up to Kermit and the other Muppets to find the real thieves and so clear Miss Piggy's name.

The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984)

The Muppets have graduated from drama school and go to Manhattan to put their musical "Manhattan Melodies" on stage there. The show was such a success at drama school that they want to be on Broadway. It does not work out like that and the Muppets go their own way to find work. Rowlf as a veterinary assistant, Fozzie lives in a cave, Miss Piggy works in a hotel and Kermit works at restaurant Pete's.

Kermit the Frog keeps trying to get his musical on stage. Eventually he finds a producer, Ronny Coleman, who wants to finance 'Manhattan Melodies'. Kermit is so happy, he crosses the road without looking and gets hit by a car. When he awakens, he suffers from amnesia and assumes a different name. The other Muppets come to Manhattan to find Kermit and get the musical on stage.

The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)

The fourth Muppet Movie is loosely based on the fairy tale by Charles Dickens. Ebenezer Scrooge does not care about Christmas and happy holidays. His loyal employee Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) would like a day off at Christmas and Scrooge reluctantly agrees. Ebenezer Scrooge goes home alone, where he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. Eventually he is reformed and becomes the most generous and most popular person in town.

Muppet Treasure Island (1996)

A Muppet adventure, in which Kermit the Frog and his friends take on pirates in search for a hidden treasure. Jim Hawkins works at an inn, and gets hold of a treasure map belonging to a sailor. With a crew, headed by Abraham Smollet, Kermit the Frog, and first mate Samuel Arrow, Jim leaves for the island. On the island the crew turns out to entirely consist of pirates, led by Long John Silver. On the island, the pirates and Smollet with the Muppets try to find the treasure first.

Muppets From Space (1999)

Gonzo gets a cornflakes message in his breakfast. He appears to be an alien and tries to contact his relatives. Kermit the Frog and other Muppets do not believe him, but the evil officer K. Edgar Singer wants to use Gonzo as prove for extra terrestrial life. It's up to Kermit and the other Muppets to save him from the hands of Singer and put him in touch with his real family.

Kermit's Swamp Years (2002)

Before Kermit became famous, he was an ordinary frog in the swamp. Together with his friends Croaker, Goggles and Blotch he lives in a swamp in the deep south of America. One day Croaker and Blotch get kidnapped and sold to a pet store. Kermit and Goggles decide to leave the swamp to find their friends. But Dr. Krassman has his eye on them, to buy them for his biology classes.

It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2003)

The owner of a bank, Miss Rachel Bitterman, wants to open a nightclub to replace the Muppet Theatre. She secretly alters the loan contract, so the Muppets must pay their interest earlier. The Muppets discover this just in time and Fozzie runs to the bank with the money, to prevent losing the theatre. However, he loses the money and now they Muppets rely on Kermit the Frog to save the theatre. Kermit, however, feels useless, but the guardian angel Daniel shows Kermit what the world would look like if he had not existed.

The Muppets' Wizard Of Oz (2005)

Dorothy dreams of becoming a famous singer. During a tornado she is transported to Oz, where she searches for the Wizard Of Oz. Along the way she is joined by a scarecrow (Kermit the Frog), a cowardly lion (Fozzie Bear) and a tin robot (Gonzo). Together they go in search of the Wizard of Oz to each get their greatest wish granted.

The Muppets (2011)

Walter, his brother Gary and Gary's girlfriend Mary visits the old, dilapidated Muppet Theatre. There they hear that a rich oil baron intends to buy the theatre and demolish it. They traces Kermit the Frog and tell him what the oil baron is planning. The Muppets could save the theatre by raising 10 million. Kermit thinks this will never happen, but Walter knows to convince him that the people have not forgotten the Muppets. Kermit brings all his old friends back together again for a telethon to raise enough money save the theatre.
